About
The 2026 Southwestern Primary Care Research & Innovation Summit will host El Rio Health’s 10th Annual Poster Fair & Awards Competition! This activity is a dynamic showcase where healthcare and public health scholars across the region will their share groundbreaking research, innovative quality improvement projects, and impactful program developments.
Scheduled for May 7th, 2026 at the El Rio Health Manning House Ballrooms in Tucson, AZ, this activity is designed to promote best practices and knowledge exchange among professionals from FQHCs, hospital-based teaching health centers, and academic institutions.
Seeking Volunteer Poster Judges
Poster judges play a key role in recognizing outstanding research, QI projects, and innovative community health initiatives. If you’re interested in contributing your expertise, we’d love to hear from you.
Submitting the interest form does not commit you to serving. It simply lets us know who may be available so we can follow up with details, final times, and next steps as the event approaches.
Call for Abstracts

Gain visibility for your research, QI projects, or program innovations among a broad and diverse audience of professionals and experts who are passionate about advancing healthcare and public health.
We are seeking poster abstracts highlighting research, quality improvement initiatives, innovative projects, and conceptual works. Submissions may include works in progress, completed projects, or ideas that emphasize best practices in community-oriented, patient-centered primary care, and population health programs.
