About the Summit
Transforming Health Outcomes and Access through Innovation & Excellence
The annual Southwestern Primary Care Research & Innovation Summit recognizes and supports efforts to expand healthcare access and improve patient outcomes by showcasing advancements in practice-based research, quality improvement, patient-centered care, and community-driven health initiatives. This event brings together healthcare professionals, researchers, patients, educators, and organizations across the Southwestern United States to exchange knowledge, foster collaboration, and explore innovative strategies that strengthen health services for all.
Our goal is to engage primary care clinicians, public health experts, students, academics, and community partners in meaningful discussions on innovative approaches to healthcare delivery and system-wide improvements that enhance patient experiences and outcomes. Throughout the Summit, attendees will reflect on key health challenges and the broader social and economic factors influencing healthcare access. They will also exchange insights and strategies for improving care delivery in geographically isolated and historically underserved communities.
